Am I too old to go back to uni??

When I told people that I am considering going back to uni, first response I got was.."r u nuts??". I must say I am nuts to leave work on unpaid leave, empty my entire life savings, take a study loan and take my entire family to a land unknown to me just to gain my long postponed goals to get a masters degree. I am amongst the "veteran" students in my course, trying my best to be at par or better than the younger "fresh" grads. Today, I attended a workshop for professional post grads...n to my surprise, I happen to be amongst the "younger" lot. Each participants sharing their reasons for coming back to school...in search for the right career for them, some in the late 40s. I am decided..."It is never too late and knowledge has no age limit, grab it while you are still breathing the air around you". After a year long journey, I have another 9 months to go... I have come this far, and I am going all out for it. I may have never said this but I owe its all to my beloved husband who had sacrificed his career to be with me and supporting my journey to obtain that scroll! Thanks, I will never want it any other way.

The beginning...

I have always wanted to start my own blog...nothing much but to capture my memories with my loved ones (family, friends n the human kind). I have come this far in life, in my career, n i just feel something still missing. What else have I got to achieve, what else can I do to make that different in my life and life of people around me. Dont seem to have found that answer yet. I hope my family and friends who will end up following my blog will help me to point out if there is something missing or I could do better. My dearest family and friends, I dedicate this blog to all all of you!
